I’m Xiao Zhang, co-founder and CTO at Alto Health. Based in Dublin, I work at the intersection of applied AI, healthcare, and thoughtful product development.

At Alto Health, I lead the technology behind tools that reduce administrative burdens for private clinical practices. The focus is practical: better document flow, smoother referrals, and more prepared patients.
My path here runs through speech recognition engineering at Oculus VR and Longcheer, research at Trinity College Dublin, and founding GrabVoice. Across these experiences, I’ve learned to connect technical depth with the realities of building a product.
Responsible development is part of that work. My experience includes GDPR, cybersecurity, and internal auditing against ISO 13485 standards.
